About Farani
Last updated 8 Aug 2026
Farani began in a Jaipur workshop with a simple frustration: ethnic wear online rarely matched what arrived.
Why Farani exists
Ethnic wear bought online rarely matches what arrives. The colour is off, the fabric is thinner than the photo suggested, and the fit assumes a body nobody has. We started Farani in a Jaipur workshop to fix the specific parts of that we could control: honest fabric descriptions, photography that shows the weave, and sizing built from real fit feedback rather than a generic chart.
How we make
We work directly with weavers in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Block printing and chikankari are done by hand, which means small variations between pieces. We consider that a feature and photograph it rather than hiding it.
Stitching
Dress material is sold unstitched because most of our customers have a tailor they trust. For those who do not, our in-house tailors will stitch to your measurements for a transparent fee, adding about four days to delivery.
